Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Eye Surgeon (Ophthalmologist) to diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of eye conditions and diseases. The role involves performing advanced surgical procedures, providing outpatient consultations, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and diagnose ocular diseases and disorders. Perform surgical procedures such as cataract surgery, LASIK, glaucoma surgeries, retinal detachment repair, corneal transplants, etc. Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to patients. Prescribe corrective lenses, medications, or therapies as appropriate. Manage ophthalmic emergencies and urgent cases. Collaborate with optometrists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Maintain detailed patient records in compliance with medical and legal standards. Educate patients and families on eye health, preventive care, and treatment options. Participate in continuous professional development, training, and research activities.

Qualifications & Requirements

MBBS degree with recognized specialization in Ophthalmology (MS/MD/DNB or equivalent). Valid medical license/registration to practice as an ophthalmologist. Proven experience in performing major and minor eye surgeries. Strong knowledge of the latest diagnostic and surgical technologies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Commitment to patient safety, ethics, and high-quality care.
