The Extruder Engineer will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining extrusion machines to ensure smooth production and high-quality output. The role includes troubleshooting machine issues, optimizing process parameters, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor extrusion machines as per production requirements.
Set machine parameters and adjust settings to achieve desired product specifications.
Perform routine checks and preventive maintenance of extrusion equipment.
Troubleshoot mechanical and process-related issues during production.
Maintain documentation of machine performance, production reports, and quality records.
Ensure product quality by monitoring dimensions, appearance, and material consistency.
Coordinate with the maintenance and quality departments for smooth workflow.
Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean working environment.
Assist in process improvement and machine optimization.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
ITI / Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Plastics, or related field.
Minimum 2-5 years of experience in extrusion operations (PVC/PP/PE/Plastic extrusion preferred).
Strong knowledge of extrusion processes and machine settings.
Ability to read technical drawings and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
Good understanding of production quality standards.
Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious behavior.
