The Role
We are looking for a driven and experienced
Export Sales Manager
to lead our expansion into international markets. You will be the face of OneRoot to global buyers, responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing B2B relationships, and overseeing the end-to-end export cycle from order to delivery.

Key Responsibilities
Global Business Development:
Identify and open new markets for OneRoot's portfolio (specifically Fruit Pulps, Spices, and Fresh Produce) in regions like the Middle East, Europe, SE Asia, and North America.
Client Acquisition:
actively prospect international buyers, importers, and distributors through cold outreach, trade shows, and digital platforms.
Sales Lifecycle Management:
Handle the entire sales process--from lead generation and price negotiation to contract closing and payment realization.
Logistics & Compliance:
Work with freight forwarders and internal teams to ensure smooth execution of shipments. Ensure all export documentation (Invoices, Packing Lists, BL, COO, Phyto certificates) complies with country-specific regulations.
Market Intelligence:
Monitor global commodity price trends, competitor activities, and demand shifts to price our products competitively.
Customer Relationship:
Build long-term trust with international clients, serving as their primary point of contact for inquiries, quality specifications, and after-sales support.
What We Are Looking For
Experience:
4+ years of proven experience in
Agri-Commodity Exports
or International Food Trading. Experience with fruit pulps or spices is a distinct advantage.
Knowledge:
Deep understanding of Incoterms (FOB, CIF, etc.), payment terms (LC, TT, DA/DP), and export documentation procedures in India.
Network:
Existing relationships with international buyers or importers in the food & beverage industry is highly preferred.
Skills:
Excellent negotiation and communication skills (English is mandatory; additional foreign languages are a plus).
Education:
MBA in International Business/Marketing or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture/Agri-Business Management.
