Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Generation & Research
Conduct deep, keyword-based
Google research
to identify new leads, untapped markets, and potential foreign buyers.
Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging export opportunities.
Build and maintain a robust database of prospects.
2. Sales & Business Development
Identify and approach potential foreign buyers through professional emails, calls, and online platforms.
Understand buyer requirements to present accurate product details, pricing, and terms.
Negotiate and close business deals
while ensuring profitability.
Maintain strong, consistent follow-up communication to convert leads into active clients.
3. Operations & Documentation
Maintain and update sales pipelines, lead sheets, and buyer databases in
Excel
.
Prepare and send professional emails, quotations, and formal offers.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth documentation, shipments, and order fulfillment.
4. Client Relationship Management
Build long-term relationships with overseas clients to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.
Work with flexible timings
to accommodate international time zones and client availability.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience:
Minimum
1-3 years
of experience in export sales, international business development, or inside sales.
Communication:
High proficiency in
English
(reading, writing, and email drafting) is mandatory.
Computer Literacy:
Strong command of MS Office (especially
Excel
for database management), Google search techniques, and general file handling.
Research Skills:
Ability to find leads using relevant keywords and export directories.
Soft Skills:
Strong negotiation capabilities, discipline, and the ability to work independently.
Flexibility:
Willingness to adjust work hours based on buyer time zones.
Preferred Qualifications (Bonus)
Experience in
Agri-commodities

Basic understanding of
