Key Responsibilities1. International Client Acquisition
Identify and connect with overseas buyers for engineering goods and industrial products.
Develop new markets and strengthen existing global customer networks.
Attend online trade fairs, export platforms, and B2B portals to generate high-quality leads.
2. Sales Conversion & Revenue Growth
Convert enquiries into profitable sales orders.
Negotiate pricing, order terms, and shipping schedules with clients.
Ensure all transactions follow
advance payment / cash-in-advance
terms.
3. Product & Market Knowledge
Promote engineering goods such as fabrication items, industrial components, steel products, and custom engineering solutions.
Conduct competitor and market analysis to identify new product opportunities.
4. Documentation & Coordination
Coordinate with production, logistics, CHA, and documentation teams for smooth export execution.
Ensure compliance with all export regulations and documentation requirements (Invoice, Packing List, COO, BL/AWB, etc.).
Track shipments and update clients proactively.
5. Relationship Management
Build long-term relationships with global buyers, agents, and distributors.
Maintain high responsiveness and professional communication.
Key Requirements
Minimum 3-7 years of experience in
Export Sales
, preferably in engineering goods.
Strong ready network of overseas buyers or proven ability to build one.
Must be comfortable working on
advance payment terms
with clients.
Excellent communication skills (Email, WhatsApp, Video Calls).
Knowledge of
export documentation, Incoterms, logistics, and customs
.
Self-driven, target-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision.
Preferred Experience
Selling to the Middle East, Africa, Southeast Asia, Europe, or South America.
Exposure to B2B platforms (Alibaba, Indiamart, Global Sources, etc.).
Knowledge of fabrication/steel/power sector products.
