Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Development & Sales
Identify, develop, and manage new international customers and distributors in target markets.
Promote company's chemical products such as paint driers, resins, additives, pigments, solvents, and specialty chemicals.
Prepare and follow up on sales quotations, offers, and tenders.
Achieve monthly/quarterly/annual sales targets for export markets.
2. Customer Relationship Management
Maintain regular communication with global clients, distributors, and agents.
Understand customer requirements, technical specifications, and market demand.
Provide technical support and product knowledge in coordination with R&D/technical teams.
3. Market Research & Strategy
Monitor international market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.
Develop strategies for entering new markets and expanding share in existing ones.
Participate in trade fairs, exhibitions, and networking events to promote products.
4. Export Operations & Documentation
Coordinate with logistics and documentation teams for smooth order execution (LCs, shipping, customs, invoices, packing lists, certificates, etc.).
Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, export laws, and customer requirements.
Track shipments and provide updates to customers.
5. Coordination & Reporting
Work closely with internal departments (Production, Procurement, QC, and Logistics) to ensure timely delivery.
Prepare monthly sales reports, forecasts, and business development updates for management.
Qualifications & Skills:
Graduate/Postgraduate in
Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Business Administration
(MBA preferred).
2-5 years of experience in
export sales of chemicals
, preferably in
Paints, Coatings, or Inks industry
.
Knowledge of
international trade regulations, export documentation, and incoterms
.
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to travel internationally as required.
Proficiency in
MS Office
and familiarity with
ERP/CRM systems
.
Additional language skills (Arabic, Spanish, French) will be an added advantage.
