Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Export Packaging & Logistics Manager to oversee the complete packaging process for goods meant for export and manage all related logistics and operational planning. The candidate will be responsible for designing secure packaging solutions for international shipping, coordinating with vendors, ensuring compliance with export standards, and planning the movement of goods from the warehouse to the destination country.

Key Responsibilities:

Export Packaging Management

Design and supervise packaging solutions for heavy, fragile, or complex export items. Ensure packaging meets international shipping standards (ISPM-15, seaworthy, etc.). Coordinate with design, production, and procurement teams to determine packaging needs. Optimize packaging methods to minimize damage risk and maximize container utilization.

Logistics & Operations Planning

Plan and manage dispatch schedules, route planning, and freight bookings. Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and transporters. Oversee container stuffing, sealing, documentation, and customs clearance. Track shipments and provide timely updates to customers and internal teams.

Compliance & Documentation

Ensure compliance with DGFT, customs, port regulations, and packaging norms. Manage export documentation including packing list, invoices, certificates of origin, and shipping instructions. Maintain accurate records of all shipments and packaging data.

Vendor and Stakeholder Coordination

Liaise with packaging suppliers, logistics partners, and inspection agencies. Coordinate with export, sales, and warehouse teams for timely delivery.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field. 3-7 years of experience in export packaging and international logistics. Preferred from Indian Institute of Packaging Knowledge of international packaging standards and logistics documentation. Proficient in MS Office, Tally/ERP systems, and freight tracking tools. Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills. Good verbal and written communication skills.
