Export Manager will be responsible for overseeing the company's export sales operations, developing international markets, managing customer relationships, and driving revenue growth in global regions. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales acumen, market research capabilities, and experience in export management, with the ability to build and nurture relationships with international clients and distributors.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Business Development:
Develop and implement export sales strategies to achieve company revenue and growth targets in international markets.
Identify new business opportunities in untapped regions and strengthen the company's presence in existing markets.
Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape in various countries.
Customer Relationship Management:
Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key international clients, distributors, and partners.
Provide pre-sales and post-sales support, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.
Resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and issues in a timely and professional manner.
Market Expansion & Export Compliance:
Explore new potential export markets and understand legal regulations, tariffs, and documentation related to international sales.
Ensure compliance with export regulations and customs laws in the target countries.
Collaborate with the logistics and supply chain teams to ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery of products to international markets.
Sales Reporting & Forecasting:
Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts, including sales performance, pipeline, and market analysis.
Collaboration & Teamwork:
Work closely with the marketing, finance, and operations teams to align export sales efforts with the company's goals.
Train and mentor junior sales staff as needed to strengthen the export sales team.
Contract Negotiation & Pricing:
Negotiate export contracts and pricing with international customers and distributors, ensuring favourable terms for the company.
Ensure that pricing strategies align with market trends while maintaining profitability.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, International Trade, Marketing, or a related field (master's degree is a plus).
Minimum 5 years of experience in export sales or international business development, preferably in FMCG Food industry].
Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, logistics, and export documentation.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
Fluency in English, knowledge of additional languages is a plus
