Key Responsibilities:
End-to-End Operations Execution
Directly manage daily import/export operations including documentation, customs clearance, freight forwarding, warehousing, and delivery coordination.
Closely monitor and aggressively drive timelines across each step of the supply chain to ensure seamless execution.
Proactively resolve any operational bottlenecks, delays, or escalations with a problem-solving mindset.
Ensure timely coordination with internal departments (sales, procurement, finance) for aligned execution.
Regulatory & Compliance
Ensure all documentation and processes meet international trade regulations, customs laws, and corporate compliance standards.
Stay updated with trade policies, INCOTERMS, HS codes, and regional compliance requirements.
Collaborate with compliance/legal teams to handle audits, risk assessments, and regulatory filings.
Vendor & Cost Management
Manage and evaluate performance of external service providers such as logistics companies, freight forwarders, and customs agents.
Negotiate rates, optimize costs, and track vendor SLAs aggressively to ensure value and reliability.
Conduct regular vendor reviews and renegotiate contracts where necessary.
Team Oversight & Coordination
Lead a small to mid-sized team responsible for logistics and trade operations.
Set clear KPIs, monitor performance rigorously, and foster a results-oriented environment.
Provide hands-on guidance, training, and problem-solving support to the team.
Technology, Reporting & Controls
Leverage logistics systems (e.g., ICAFFE or similar platforms) to manage shipments, documentation, and real-time tracking.
Generate and present clear, data-driven operational reports on shipment status, delivery accuracy, and logistics costs.
Monitor key performance indicators daily to ensure no slippage in process or delivery.

Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in international business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related discipline.
8+ years of experience in import/export operations with at least 3+ years in a managerial or supervisory role.
Strong command of customs procedures, INCOTERMS, international shipping, and regulatory documentation.
Proven track record of managing logistics end-to-end, with an aggressive and performance-focused approach.
Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and logistics software/tools.
Exceptional execution skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.
Excellent communication, vendor management, and team leadership skills.

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
