Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented

Export & Import Manager

to handle international trade operations in the tyre industry. The role involves managing end-to-end export and import processes, ensuring compliance with global trade regulations, coordinating with logistics partners, and supporting business growth in international markets.

Key Responsibilities

Export Management:

Prepare and manage export documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, etc.). Coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and clearing agents for timely dispatch. Ensure compliance with export regulations, trade laws, and customer requirements. Monitor export shipments and update stakeholders on status. Handle customer queries regarding shipments and documentation.

Import Management:

Manage import documentation and liaise with customs for clearance of tyres and raw materials. Ensure compliance with import regulations, tariffs, and duties. Negotiate freight and shipping costs to ensure cost efficiency. Track inbound shipments and coordinate delivery to warehouses or plants.

Logistics & Coordination:

Collaborate with supply chain, procurement, and sales teams for smooth operations. Monitor freight movements, resolve delays, and escalate issues when required. Maintain updated records of all import/export activities. Liaise with insurance companies for claims in case of shipment damage or loss.

Compliance & Reporting:

Stay updated on international trade laws and customs regulations. Maintain accurate records for audits and reporting purposes. Prepare MIS reports on imports, exports, shipping costs, and duty structures.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in International Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field. 3-10 years of experience in export/import operations (preferably in the tyre, automotive, or manufacturing industry). Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
