Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Import and Export Follow-up Coordinator to join our team. The selected candidate will be responsible for coordinating and tracking import and export shipments, ensuring compliance with regulations and resolving any issues that may arise during the shipping process & custom clearance.



Responsibilities:

Shipment Tracking and Follow-up: Track and follow up on export and import shipments to ensure timely delivery. Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and shipping lines to resolve issues and clear shipments. For Export orders, need to follow up with domestic supplier's & provide the commitment date without failure in dispatches.


2. Documentation:

Ensure all import and export documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with regulations. Maintain accurate records and databases, including import and export documentation, shipment tracking, and compliance reports. Bill of Entry (BOE): Document filed with customs authorities to declare imported goods. Commercial Invoice: Document showing transaction details, including goods description, value, and payment terms. Packing List: Document listing contents of each package, including weights and dimensions. Certificate of Origin (COO): Document certifying country of origin for imported goods. Import License: Government-issued license required for restricted or prohibited goods.


3. Issue Resolution:

Identify and mitigate potential risks and delays, proactively communicating with internal teams. Resolve issues related to shipments, customs clearance, and documentation.


4. Collaboration and Communication:

Collaborate with internal teams (Logistics, Procurement, Sales) to ensure smooth import and export operations. Communicate effectively with internal team, including freight forwarders, customs brokers, shipping lines and foreign suppliers.


5. Reporting and Analysis:

Prepare and submit reports on import and export performance, highlighting key issues and areas for improvement. Analyze shipment data to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement.

Qualification

: Any UG or PG Graduate

Experience :

5 - 6 Years in the same field preferred.

Availability:

Immediate joiners or candidates with a short notice period are preferred

Language:

English Fluency must & Hindi proficiency will be an added advantage

Technical Skills:

Basic Tally knowledge is a must
