. The role involves managing complete export operations, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring compliance with global trade regulations to ensure smooth shipment and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities1. Export Documentation
Prepare and verify all export documents such as
Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, COO, LC documentation, Shipping Instructions
, etc.
Ensure documents meet
customs, bank, and buyer requirements
.
Handle document submission through
EDI, DGFT portals, shipping portals
as needed.
Coordinate with banks for
LC negotiation, BRC, GR release
and other export formalities.
2. Shipment Coordination
Book shipments with
freight forwarders, CHA, shipping lines
and track cargo movement.
Ensure timely dispatch of shipments based on buyer and production schedules.
Follow up with logistics partners for
vessel schedules, ETD/ETA updates
, and documentation.
3. Compliance & Regulations
Ensure compliance with
export laws, customs regulations, INCOTERMS
, and company policies.
Apply for and manage
DGFT schemes
including MEIS/RODTEP/Advance License, if needed.
4. Customer & Internal Coordination
Maintain communication with international buyers regarding documentation and shipment status.
Coordinate with
sales, production, QC, warehouse
, and finance teams to ensure on-time shipment and document accuracy.
5. Reporting & Administration
Maintain and update export records, shipment trackers, and document files.
Prepare periodic reports on
export performance, documentation status, and logistics costs
