Job Description

An Export Executive manages the process of selling and shipping goods or services to foreign markets, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and logistics. Key responsibilities include preparing and processing export documents, coordinating with shipping carriers and customs authorities, managing logistics, maintaining client relationships, and monitoring market trends. The role requires strong organizational, communication, and negotiation skills, along with a deep understanding of export procedures and international trade laws. Key Responsibilities

Documentation:

Prepare, verify, and process all necessary export documents, such as commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and certificates of origin.

Logistics Coordination:

Arrange and monitor shipments, coordinating with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs brokers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.

Compliance:

Ensure all export activities comply with international trade laws, export regulations, and customs requirements.

Stakeholder Communication:

Liaise with international clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders to manage orders, address inquiries, and resolve issues.

Market Analysis:

Monitor international market trends, identify new opportunities, and provide insights to management on export strategies.

Financial Management:

Handle international payment transactions and ensure timely payment collection.

Record Keeping:

Maintain accurate records of all export transactions and activities for reporting and auditing purposes.
Skills and Qualifications

Knowledge of Export Regulations:

Strong understanding of international trade laws, customs procedures, and compliance requirements.

Logistics Expertise:

Familiarity with different modes of transportation (air, sea, land) and shipping terms (Incoterms).

Communication:

Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills to build and maintain relationships with clients and suppliers worldwide.

Attention to Detail:

A detail-oriented approach to manage complex documentation and ensure accuracy in all transactions.

Problem-Solving:

Ability to identify and resolve issues that may arise during the export process.

Technical Proficiency:

Familiarity with Microsoft Office and other productivity tools.
