An Export Documentation Executive is responsible for managing and preparing all export-related documents to ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and smooth shipment processes.
Key responsibilities include:
Preparing and verifying export documents like invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and insurance certificates.
They coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers, and internal departments such as sales, finance, and logistics to facilitate timely delivery and regulatory compliance.
Additionally, they track shipments, resolve documentation issues, maintain accurate records, and support audits related to export activities.
The role requires close coordination with stakeholders, handling pre-shipment and post-shipment documentation, negotiating with Customs House Agents (CHAs), and managing bank documentation related to exports.
Knowledge of export policies such as EXIM, DGFT regulations, MEIS licenses, and other export incentive schemes is important.
