(Pointwise):
Manage and monitor all export and import shipments efficiently.
Plan and supervise logistics, warehousing, and transportation processes.
Handle complete EXIM (Export-Import) documentation and banking formalities.
Ensure compliance with DGFT, customs laws, ISO standards, and export-import policies.
Process Letters of Credit (LC) and track import/export limits as per bank and regulatory norms.
Coordinate with Customs authorities, CHAs, transporters, banks, and internal plant teams.
Liaise with freight forwarders and shipping lines to negotiate and obtain best freight rates.
Monitor and apply correct Incoterms (FOB, CIF, DDP, DDU) for international shipments.
Prepare and verify key export documents:
Bill of Lading
Certificate of Origin
Commercial Invoice
Packing List
Insurance Policy
Ensure timely EBRC (e-BRC) closure and accurate LC administration.
Maintain compliance with government licensing requirements and export incentives.
Keep up-to-date with EXIM policies, FTAs (Free Trade Agreements), MEIS, and Duty Drawback schemes.
Analyze costing for import/export shipments and maintain relevant MIS.
Coordinate inspections for damaged goods and file insurance claims for transit losses.
Obtain short lading certificates and follow up on any cargo discrepancies.
