Job Title: Expert \xe2\x80\x93 Finance Controlling [Freight]

RCS Grade: L

Job Location: DHL Global Forwarding, Freight (DGFF) GSC, India (Mumbai)

In this role, you will have the opportunity to participate, analyse, & shape cost control & compliance data & reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Execute controlling activities, run analysis, and create reports.

Operations Reporting Controller:

\xc2\xb7 Create Daily reports tracking hours by job code (driver, dock worker, admin) and overlay with shipment volume to track hours per shipment for drivers and dock workers

\xc2\xb7 Create a Dashboard to view these reports by station

\xc2\xb7 Create Daily reports to track on time pickup and on time deliveries using data in CLI (our Transportation Management System)

\xc2\xb7 Create a Dashboard to track

\xc2\xb7 Create a live view report that gives real time updates on number of undelivered shipments in the system.

\xc2\xb7 Reconcile payroll hours to reported hours

\xc2\xb7 Create a report to show downtime daily

• Ad hoc operational reports

Accountant balance sheet:

\xc2\xb7 Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliation.

\xc2\xb7 Cash flow Analysis

• Cash flow Forecasting

Revenue Reporting Controller:

\xc2\xb7 Create daily reports that track volume by customer. Shipments, Weight, and Revenue

\xc2\xb7 Create daily reports that track volume by station. Shipments, Weight, and Revenue

\xc2\xb7 Create a daily report that tracks unbilled shipments

\xc2\xb7 Assist in revenue forecasting

• Create dashboards for volume by station and customer showing month over month changes, as well as year over year changes

Scanning Invoices:

\xc2\xb7 Scan Freight invoices into CLI, TMS/Accounting system. Freight is moving to S21 in June of 2024, train on this tool beforehand. currently implementation is done for GeT, for scanning invoices however not majority of vendors running through GeT yet. Access & Training required on GeT/S21.

Others:

• Ensure the process documentations / SOPs are updated with changes as per the plan.
• Create finance reports and management presentation decks

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Graduate with finance & accounting specialization
• Post graduation / Financial Management certification (preferable)
• Minimum 2 to 4 years of experience in Finance domain
• Preferably an internal candidate with 2+ years of experience in DHL. Should have know how of Freight reporting systems such as: CREST, FORWIN, CW1, S21 & FRP
• Prior experience in managing onshore offshore working environment
• Should be well versed in MS Office Suite especially Advanced MS Excel (pivots, dashboards, data models, database management) and should have good knowledge of Powerpoint.

• Excellent English communication skills verbal and written
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills (Trend analysis, Reconciliation, Forecasting) and be pragmatic.
• Should be a self-starter and a good team player.
