Job Description

This is a night shift job where in you would be working in US times.

A senior freight broker serves as a communication between shippers and carriers to secure the transportation of goods.

Responsibilities:

Generating leads and attracting new prospects, and developing a sales pipeline. Handle team of 5-7 members Identifying and selecting reputable and safe carriers for freight services. Providing customers with shipping quotes. Booking orders with carriers. Collaborating with shippers, carriers, and dispatchers to manage scheduled collections and drop-offs. Maintaining current knowledge of market trends in the transportation marketplace.

Qualifications:

Min. 6 months of work experience in logistics only Excellent problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Outstanding people skills. Proficient negotiating skills. This is a sales job that requires you to have solid operational skills, we are looking to hire people who want to grow professionally & personally as well.
