Position Overview:

Boeing team is currently looking for Experienced Field Service Representative (FSR) to be based out at New Delhi, India.

Field Service Representative (FSR) is assigned to customers to provide on-site technical assistance to help maintain fleet health. FSR provides consulting services related to maintenance and engineering for the time critical dispatch support and fleet-wide maintenance planning, etc., and initiates corrective action to ensure fleet airworthiness and customer satisfaction with Boeing's products and services. The position will be located at the Boeing Field Service office. The work pattern will vary depending on the needs of the customer or management direction, which will require candidate's flexibility in terms of working hours, unsupervised work for extended periods of time and willingness to be on call 24x7 as required to support emergent customer requirements.

Provides technical field support of company products. Performs troubleshooting procedures for multiple systems coverage. Resolves maintenance and operational issues. Interprets technical documents and monitors product performance. Analyzes technical data and evaluates maintenance procedures. Develops and conducts ad hoc training. Maintains effective customer relations.

Researches, identifies and resolves customer supply support system inventory discrepancies. Investigates total platform vehicle demand management, replenishment and electronic data systems. Monitors logistics system performance. Solicits customer feedback and acts to improve satisfaction with company services. Manages field office resources.

Position Responsibilities:

Provide technical field support of company products, service and equipment on both aircraft and ground support systems

Work with team to develop/initiate and oversee customer support plan and execute strategy

Act as the on-site liaison between the company and customer personnel of widely varying background and address and resolve issues in a timely manner

Assist customers with troubleshooting and analysis of issues to resolve maintenance/engineering and operational problems and respond to those issues by interpreting technical documents and procedures

Utilize multi-disciplined technical expertise and company knowledge to help customers to achieve and sustain a high level of fleet dispatch reliability and proficiency in the operation and maintenance of company products by investigating product problems, determining cause, and developing and implementing corrective action.

Understand complexity of customer issues and expectations and develop solutions for such challenges likely for maintenance/engineering and fleet reliability improvement

Provide customer knowledge, including technical and operational data, to company organizations and anticipate opportunities to leverage company products and services for improvement

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Bachelor's or Master's Degree

Technical degree in aeronautical and/or engineering college degree with 8+ years of relevant experience.

Demonstrated ability to work across cultures and time zones to support customer

Boeing aircraft maintenance experience, preferably with 777 and/or 737

Customer service-oriented mind with strong communication skills to build long-term relationships with customer

Demonstrated abilities in supply chain, inventory management, spares support management, and warranty management

Demonstrate problem solving abilities and ability to work under stressful circumstances and time constraints

Experience and ability to work in demanding, on-call operational environment

Strong local and English language capability

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Formal maintenance training on Boeing aircraft

Prior experience with aviation business analytics and application

Prior experience in a Customer Support organization

Prior experience in military aviation, specifically in the technical and support domain.

Prior experience in fleet maintenance activities and handling of aircraft equipment

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+ 8 years' related work experience.
