Job Description

We are looking for a

CCTV Technician

to install, configure, test, and maintain CCTV surveillance systems (IP/Analog). The role includes site work, cabling, device mounting, NVR/DVR configuration, troubleshooting, and customer support while ensuring systems operate reliably and securely.

Key Responsibilities

Install and commission

CCTV systems

(IP cameras, analog cameras, DVR/NVR, VMS). Perform

site surveys

, plan camera locations, and prepare installation layouts. Run and terminate cables:

Cat6, coax, fiber (basic), power

, conduit/trunking. Configure devices:

IP addressing, PoE switches, routers

, camera parameters (resolution, FPS, motion detection). Configure and maintain

NVR/DVR

, storage, RAID (if applicable), and recording schedules. Set up

remote viewing

(mobile apps, DDNS, P2P, port forwarding/VPN as required). Troubleshoot faults: no video, network issues, hard disk failures, PoE problems, image quality issues. Perform periodic

preventive maintenance

and system health checks. Maintain documentation: as-built drawings, IP lists, passwords handover forms, service reports. Coordinate with clients and site teams for access, testing, and handover training. Follow safety practices and company policies while working on-site. Experience of IP systems and Computer and peripherals
