A Snapshot of Your Day
As an Expediter - GT Control System Purchasing professional responsible for ensuring that materials, products, or services are delivered on time and in accordance with project specifications. You will play a crucial role in supply chain management by coordinating with suppliers, monitoring inventory levels, and facilitating communication between various departments.
How You'll Make an Impact

• Be part of GT Control System Team providing services for NA Procurement Team within the Siemens Energy Service Controls & Digitalization Organization.
• Cross departmental communication and collaboration with Project Procurement Managers and Project Support Team ensuring all the purchasing requisitions are processed daily.
• Receive, review, and process purchase requisition in a timely manner.
• Develop a working relationship with vendors and suppliers while reviewing and selecting best vendor quotes.
• Expedite purchase orders to ensure on time delivery
• Manage and prioritize expedite requests from the internal team

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in engineering preferably in Mechanical/ Control / Instrumentation Degree.
• 6-8 years of experience within the energy industry including and supply chain management experience.
• Resilient and flexible in a dynamic work environment with proven problem-solving skills.
• Cross departmental communication, collaboration, and relationship building with individuals from functional departments across the company and with external suppliers.
• Experience with Digitalization, Controls, or Carbonization Business Fields is preferred.
• Be proficient in SAP and Microsoft Excel

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
