Job Description

Eximius is an early-stage micro-VC fund, founded in 2020 on the principle of building an equitable ecosystem in the startup world. Currently investing from our Fund I, with a focus on tech investments across Fintech, Healthtech & Gaming for the Indian market. Some of our well-known investments are - Eka Care, Jar, iTribe, Fego, Zorro, Kala Gato, EsportsXO. As a micro-VC, we identify unstoppable founders at the inception of their journey, and support them through all phases of growth.

Eligibility Criteria:

- Post-graduate degree in Finance/Commerce/Statistics from a top Indian school or equivalent

- Over 7 years of work experience including min. 3-4 years of experience working in an early-stage Venture Capital firm

Specific Responsibilities will Include:

- Identify and assess potential investment opportunities from the network of contacts (business colleagues, venture incubators and accelerators, etc.) and new sources.

- Develop new & innovative strategies for deal generation.

- Conduct primary and secondary research to identify white spaces in segments of interest with the help of junior staff.

- Manage and support in all aspects of deal processes.

- Coordination of due diligence and closure of deal transaction (end-to-end).

- Develop an - informed perspective of assigned sectors, including managing and building brand and relationships with: VC firms, start-up accelerators, founders, and other members of the venture ecosystem.

- Help execute strategies at portfolio companies by identifying relevant service partners or experts. Aid in next round fundraise of portfolio companies.

- Lead and Support the investment team.

- Make thoughtful introductions on behalf of our founders to potential investors, customers, and advisors.
