Key Responsibilities



Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans as per sales forecast and customer orders. Monitor production schedules and adjust plans based on machine availability and material status. Coordinate with purchase, stores, quality, and production departments for smooth operations. Ensure availability of raw materials, tools, and manpower as per production requirements. Track production performance and minimize downtime and delays. Maintain proper documentation of production reports, work orders, and planning data. Analyze capacity utilization and suggest process improvements. Ensure production targets are achieved with minimum wastage and cost control. Support continuous improvement initiatives like Lean, Kaizen, and 5S. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company standards.

Required Skills



Strong knowledge of production planning and control (PPC). Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP/MRP systems. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent coordination and communication abilities. Time management and multitasking skills. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and inventory control.

Educational Qualification



Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Mechanical, Industrial, Production, or Manufacturing Engineering.

Experience



1-5 years of experience in production planning or manufacturing operations (as per company requirement).
