SHREENATH FINE CHEM INDIA PVT. LTD. - EXIM ManagerPosition Title: EXIM Manager (Export-Import)Department: Commercial / EXIMReporting To: Senior Management / CFO / Head - CommercialLocation: HO / Factory (as applicable)Job Purpose

The EXIM Manager is responsible for managing and controlling all export-import operations of the company in compliance with Indian Foreign Trade Policy, FEMA, customs regulations, and banking norms. The role ensures smooth execution of international trade transactions, cost optimization, documentation accuracy, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities1. Export-Import Operations & Compliance

Manage end-to-end export and import transactions as per applicable laws and company policies. Handle

Advance Authorization (Advance License)

, including application, execution, tracking, and closure. Ensure compliance with

DGFT, Customs, FEMA, RBI, GST, and FTP

regulations. Monitor

Import Payment Monitoring System (IPMS)

and ensure timely closure of import remittances. Obtain and manage

BRC (Bank Realization Certificates)

for export proceeds and ensure compliance for incentives and refunds.
2. Banking, Trade Finance & Messaging Systems

Coordinate with banks for

LC, BG, export/import remittances

, and trade finance facilities. Handle LC-based transactions including issuance, advising, negotiation, and closure. Ensure accurate preparation and submission of LC-compliant documents, avoiding discrepancies. Work with banks using

SFMS / SWIFT

for secure trade communication.
3. Documentation & LC Handling

Prepare and verify export-import documents including Invoice, Packing List, BL/AWB, COO, Insurance, and Survey Reports. Ensure documents strictly match LC terms, INCOTERMS, shipment dates, and contractual conditions. Coordinate timely submission of documents to banks and customers.
4. Logistics, Packing & Cargo Safety

Coordinate with CHA, freight forwarders, shipping lines, transporters, and surveyors. Ensure proper

export packing, labeling, marking, and ISPM-15 compliance

. Oversee

fumigation, heat treatment, and moisture-control measures

for cargo safety. Arrange and review

Container Survey Reports

before stuffing to minimize risk and claims.
5. Port Operations & Cost Control

Monitor and control port-related charges including

ground rent, house charges, repo charges, and dead rent

. Plan timely clearance and dispatch to avoid detention and demurrage. Optimize logistics cost through negotiation with service providers and effective planning.
6. Shipping Modes & Cargo Planning

Decide appropriate shipping modes (bulk vs containerized) based on cargo nature and cost efficiency. Coordinate bulk shipments and container movements as per shipment schedules.
7. Coordination & Stakeholder Management

Act as a single point of contact between internal departments (Accounts, Production, Sales) and external agencies. Resolve operational challenges related to logistics delays, documentation mismatches, and compliance issues. Maintain strong relationships with banks, CHA, shipping lines, and regulatory authorities.
