Role Overview

The Export / Import Executive will be responsible for managing end-to-end EXIM operations, ensuring smooth and timely shipment execution, and maintaining compliance with international trade regulations. The role requires strong coordination with freight forwarders, CHAs, and shipping lines, along with a thorough understanding of export-import documentation and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end EXIM operations, including booking shipments, negotiating freight rates, and overseeing customs clearance. Coordinate with freight forwarders, Custom House Agents (CHA), and shipping lines to ensure timely execution of shipments. Schedule shipments in alignment with production schedules and customer delivery timelines. Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, documentation standards, and shipping guidelines. Maintain accurate records of shipment documentation and operational data. Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs in the EXIM process.
Experience & Qualifications

Minimum 1-4 years of experience in EXIM operations, preferably within a logistics or forwarding company. Bachelor's degree in International Business, Supply Chain, or a related field; MBA preferred. Strong understanding of international shipping, documentation, and compliance procedures. Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
