Job Description

A Spare Parts Executive manages inventory, processes orders, sources parts from suppliers, handles customer/technician requests, ensures timely delivery, maintains records, and optimizes stock levels for operational efficiency, often in auto, manufacturing, or machinery sectors, requiring strong organizational, negotiation, and technical knowledge to minimize downtime and meet business goals. Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management

: Monitor stock, maintain accurate records, organize for efficiency, control obsolescence, and ensure optimal stock levels.

Procurement & Sourcing

: Identify, source, and order parts; negotiate with suppliers for costs, terms, and promotions; liaise with OEMs.

Order Processing

: Handle sales orders, invoices, RFQs, and ensure fulfillment.

Customer & Technical Support

: Respond to inquiries, assist technicians with part identification, provide technical info, and build client relationships.

Sales & Business Development

: Identify new opportunities, prepare sales proposals, and meet targets.

Reporting & Compliance

: Develop reports, maintain quality standards, and adhere to safety protocols.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:

Experience

: Background in supply chain, logistics, or relevant industry; inventory management experience & Automobile Industry.

Skills

: Excellent communication, negotiation, problem-solving, customer service, and organizational skills.

Technical

: Proficiency with inventory software (e.g., CDK system), MS Office (Word, Excel), and product knowledge.
