A Legal Triage Specialist is responsible for reviewing, categorizing, and prioritizing incoming legal matters and assigning them to the appropriate legal professionals or departments. They act as the first point of contact in legal operations, ensuring efficient and accurate case routing.
Key Responsibilities: Receive and analyze incoming legal service requests. Classify matters by type, urgency, and complexity. Assign cases to appropriate legal teams or escalate as necessary. Monitor case intake queues and ensure timely processing. Maintain records of triaged matters in a case management system. Communicate with internal clients or stakeholders to clarify requests. Ensure compliance with internal protocols and legal procedures. e-discovery document review for responsiveness, privilege, confidentiality and redactions.
