Position Title Advisor - Pet Function, Responsibility Level Operations, Executive Reports to Assistant Manager - Operations Location Noida Span of Control NA Permanent/ Temporary Permanent Basic Function The process involves dealing with scanned claim forms received from customers regarding their pet insurance policy. The claims involve all expenses related to treatment of pets for illness and injury. Veterinary clinics/ policy holders submit their invoices for indemnity of claims. The team assesses the claims for validity of treatment and medication and makes relevant payouts. The team also conducts Diary activity which involves housekeeping for periodic review of the progress on an open claim Essential Functions . Ensure that the process transactions are processed as per standard procedures . Ensure that the assigned targets in accordance with SLA are met . Ensure that the quality of the transactions is in compliance with predefined parameters Any other essential function that may occur from time to time as directed by the Supervisor Primary Internal Interactions . AM for the purpose of reporting performance, escalation handling, clarifying concerns, and seeking feedback and support. . Manager for the purpose of settling issues left unresolved by the AM and monthly evaluation of performance. . Agents for the purpose of seeking cooperation & clarification on process-related matters & providing assistance and support when required. . Subject Matter Expert for the purpose of work thread related issues and escalated transactions. . QCA for the purpose of feedback and audit. . Trainers for the purpose of Pre-process and Process training. Primary External Interactions . SME / Trainers at the client end for training . Onshore teams for the purpose of seeking clarifications & settling claims for Vet/PH Required Competencies & Skills Technical Skills Should be familiar with MS Office and computer navigation Good typing speed and accuracy Process Specific Skills . Knowledge of the Insurance industry in UK . Capability to understand the illnesses/ medical terminology and investigate cases as appropriate and take decisions on settlement . Appreciation of animals - a shared affection for animals could help an insurance agent close a claim with better understanding Soft skills (Minimum) . Good spoken English . Listening and comprehension skills . Questioning and Reasoning Skills . Customer Service focus and telephone etiquette . Ability to multi task, prioritize and manage daily work activities Soft Skills (Desired) . Self discipline . Result orientation . Adaptability Open to work in a flexible working window Education Requirements Medical Educational background - B-Sc. (Bio)ogy or B-Pharma) Understanding of basic human/animal anatomy .
