Job Description

Job Summary
Operation Coordinator's function plays a crucial role in coordinating and supporting the operations in all operational department. The main purpose of this role is to ensure efficient workflow, timely production, and effective coordination among team members in operations and other departments to meet production targets and maintain product quality standards. Besides being a responsible for handling the administrative side, requesting maintenance supplies & services in SAP, and preparing periodical reports based on collected data to be used as indicators of operational departments' performance.
Roles & Responsibilities

  • Prepare production-related reports including operational and production data (Production rates, downtimes, material & spare parts usage, and other key performance indicators) providing line manager and relevant stakeholders with valuable insights and information about the process allowing them to assess the performance and identify the areas for improvement.
  • Collect all data related to the production and prepare reports in these regards to the direct manager in order to follow-up the production rates.
  • Ensure that all incoming raw materials meet the required quality specification coordinating with the quality assurance team to assure matching with the quality standards returning the defected materials to warehouses within returning orders in SAP in case of not aligning with quality standards.
  • Ensure the proper hand over of received raw materials to production line's supervisor to use them in production process collaborating with production manager to understand the raw material requirements for each run.
  • Create purchase requisition requests in SAP System for all related supplies on time in order not to affect the production process in case of delaying the process of providing the needed material, service or spare parts and follow-up with purchasing department to accelerate the release of purchase orders.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of raw materials by conducting regular stock-taking for all received raw materials existing inside production department to determine damaged materials amount during production process investigating damages reasons in order to control and limit it.
  • Adjust raw materials quantities in SAP system after being used in production process and converted to final product through process order stage to keep production continuity.
  • Record the raw materials used in the production process on a daily basis to ensure the data validation in comparing with production data in SAP system.
KPIs
Work experience requirement
Minimum 5 years of relevant functional experience in the same area with stock control background. FMCG experience - food industry firms preferred.
Qualification
Bachelor's degree in (Commerce, Accounting, Business Administration...) or equivalent.
