Project Description
The program with the Department of Labour Resources in Bihar has been started in 2025, and entails work on policy and process redesigning, capacity building, grievance redressal, and registration drives on the ground, among other things. As the Executive-Operations you will be expected to join the operations team at Indus Action in Patna, Bihar, which includes
the following roles:
Design and implement initiatives to improve the implementation of schemes delivered by the department
Actively scout for and onboard partners to support Indus Action's work
Manage operations within the budget allocated and ensure that the goals set for the project(s) are achieved
Work with the different departments like Education, Panchayat and Rural Development, Labour, Health and Family Welfare, as the organisation is interacting with, in continuing the ongoing work and building upon it through new partnerships as needed.
Support in the process of technology integration in multiple areas, including but not limited to, websites and mobile applications

Requirements
Knowledge and Technical Skills
Stakeholder Management
Has worked in a team of 3+ people
Partnered with the government and built relations across any of the levels (District or State) to drive large-scale projects for 2+ years
Project Management
Has independently managed and delivered projects end-to-end for at least 1 year
Is well-versed with principles of designing thinking, planning and execution, budget management, quality control and monitoring and evaluation
Data & Technology
Is well versed with technology products, and able to translate between a tech and non-tech audience. Past experience of coding is a plus but not compulsory.
Coordinate with the technical personnel and government stakeholders whileensuring the team members are actively working toward established milestones.
Has strong analytical skills to create strategies and analyse data Support in the design and implementation of new projects (portal/dashboards)
as per requirement and create plans to be able to maintain the existing applications.
Hold regular technical team meetings to determine progress and address any questions or challenges regarding projects.
Determine and define clear deliverables, roles, and responsibilities for team members required for specific projects or initiatives.
Research and Analysis
Has worked on at least 1 project involving fieldwork/primary research (preferred)
Has experience with secondary research and data analysis
Has strong report-writing skills

Compensation
The Executive-Operations will be compensated between INR 4-7 lacs per annum based on educational qualifications and past experiences. Other benefits include Health Insurance for the family, Professional Development Allowance, Travel Allowance, and EPF.
