1. Hardware Management: o Install, configure and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, scanners and other IT Peripherals. o Diagnose and resolve hardware related issues. o Perform regular hardware health checks and preventive maintenance. o Handle system upgrades and replacement of faulty components. o Maintain inventory of IT assets and ensure proper tagging and documentation.
2. Network Management: o Manage LAN, WAN and WIFI configuration and troubleshooting o Monitor network connectivity and resolve issues related to switches, routers, access points and cabling. o Coordinate with network service providers for downtime and service improvements. o Ensure network security by managing firewall rules and access controls. o Support VPN setup and connectivity for remote users.
3. Software and System Support: o Install, configure and update operating systems (windows and application software). o Troubleshoot issues related to software applications, email and antivirus. o Ensure timely renewal and installation of antivirus and licenses. o Manage NAS user accounts, email ids and access permissions as per company policy. o Support ERP/Tally/ GST Software or other specific tools.
4. IT Security and Compliance: o Ensure systems comply with IT security policies and protocols. o Monitor unauthorized software installation and ensure data security practices. o Assist in implementation of cybersecurity measures and patch updates. o Support audit requirements by providing necessary IT data.
5. User Support and Coordination: o Provide day to day IT support to employees for all hardware, software and network issues. o Handle IT related service request through email or ticketing. o Coordinate with vendors for repairs, AMC services and procurement tools. o Train users on basic IT hygiene, safe browsing practices and system usage.
