Minimum Competencies

(Knowledge and Skills) Basic Day-to-day accounting of Sales & Purchases, Expenses & Income


Reconciliation of Accounts including Inter Company & Bank Accounts


Accounting Employee claims


Coordination with Marketing Team, Warehouses & HO


Basic knowledge of GST, Income Tax & other Statutory Obligations


SAP FICO


MS Office, particularly Excel




Behavioural Competencies Interpersonal skills


Excellent Communication Skills


Ethical Conduct, Personal Effectiveness and Credibility


Persuasion Skills


Analytical ability and Problem Solving


Result Oriented - Ability to identify, understand, manage Customer Psychology








Preferred Competencies SAP SD & MM








Primary Roles Day-to-day accounting of all bills, vouchers, expense & Collections / receipts etc. in SAP


Tracking advances, pre-paid expenses, depreciation etc.


Draw payables and make payments to creditors / employees against claims


Maintaining registers like Fixed Assets, Import Purchases including landing cost details


Tracking & accounting Advance/Imprest given to employees / vendors


Preparation of data for filing periodical GST/IT returns


Preparation of data for regular Internal Audit and Annual Audit






Primary Responsibilities/ Accountabilities Day-to-day accounting of various accounting documents in SAP


Maintaining various General Ledgers in SAP


Visiting Govt Dept./ Banks as and when required


GST Records in coordination with In-charges of WH at different locations


Coordinate with all WH to enter all the purchase bills and maintain copies at HO on daily basis


Compile & pay Statutory dues like TDS, PF, P-tax, GST, Advance Income Tax








Other Duties and Responsibilities Other responsibilities related to Finance and Accounts initiatives as identified by the organization / management.
