Purpose of the Job

: Responsible for to achieve the key Production objectives through innovative manufacturing practices and process.

Major Responsibilities

:

To lead shift operation of production process To coordinate the materials and manpower in the shift operations and to achieve the targets To achieve the objectives of Business Unit through innovative production methods Ensure adherence to quality and safety requirements. Deploy modern manufacturing practices/ tools to achieve throughput efficiency and optimum productivity Maintain Machine health in show room condition by deploying high standards of Plant maintenance Deploy Quality management tools for problem solving and ensure high process capability Show strong team leadership and ensure professional transaction with peers and SMT members To train new TMTs in respective BU Ensure all relevant documents like PIBS/SAP/MII are complete as per the procedure. Ensure discipline in the shop floor & plant.

Knowledge (Technical / Functional).

TPM / TQM knowledge Lean manufacturing methods 5S systems Knowledge in Tyre Manufacturing Technical knowledge of operation of machine in the BU Knowledge on Production Planning Knowledge on PIBS/MII/SAP Knowledge in safety requirements across processes Knowledge on customer requirements (internal/external)
