JOB TITLE: Costing Engineer
GRADE: ASM
REPORTS TO: HOD - Infra elevator & Escalator
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain product cost models along with should cost models for components and for all products based on configurations.
• Perform the business case/cost benefit analysis for all projects w.r.t product costing.
• Support program management team for providing cost models as part of the program execution.
• Also responsible for Change Notice (CN) related cost impact assessment and timely updation of cost models
• Able to work with cross-functional teams for R&D/Engineering, Supply chain, Manufacturing, Finance, marketing & sales organizations for developing cost models.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum requirement of bachelors degree in mechanical or electrical engineering from a reputed institution.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum 8 years of total work experience which includes experience of 5 years or more with developing product cost models. Experience in product development shall be an added advantage. Must have experience with business case development and coordination of deliverables with numerous functions.

Strong/clear communication, interpersonal and presentation skills Must be proficient in English (spoken, written) - this role is very visible Ability to team across functions and resolve conflicts Proficient with formal project management tools including MS Project
