The Executive - Store - Rail & Inland Terminals is responsible for overseeing the mechanical and electrical inventory management, fuel issuance of rail and inland terminal facilities. This role involves ensuring the safe and efficient operation of equipment, managing maintenance activities, and coordinating with various stakeholders to optimize performance.
Key responsibilities
Arrange for the delivery of diesel oil to the terminal.
Engineering recordkeeping/documentation and checklist review.
Maintain the legal register for fuel station and calibrated instrument of engineering department.
Check and act as per internal audit requirements provide reports as required.
Maintaining proper records on maintenance, inventory, consumption etc.
Maintain the store stock and error free record & Carryout perpetual inventory.
Create stock codes for stock items in stores.
Carryout monthly stock reconciliation.
Carryout engineering scrap disposal through authorized vendor.
Maintenance software administration and coordination.
Maintain accurate inventory management of inspection equipment and consumables.
Verify incoming items against purchase orders and delivery notes, ensuring quality and quantity match specifications as required.
Unpack, label, and store incoming goods/equipment in designated locations, ensuring the storeroom is organized and items are easily accessible.
Monitor stock levels of consumables and reorder supplies as needed to maintain optimal inventory levels.
Ensure all inspection equipment is properly maintained and calibrated, coordinating for any necessary repairs or servicing.
To provide support for all HSEQ audits as required.
Distribute and receive inspection tools and consumables as required and verify that the inspection tools received back after inspection are in proper condition. Notify to the QC management in case of any malfunctions/missing equipment.
Report, document, and track damages and discrepancies on orders received.
Preventive and break down maintenance of road weigh bridge and rail in motion weigh bridges and reefers coordination with operation team.
QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES
Bachelor's degree or a related field.
Communication, Analytical, Teamwork and risk analysis
Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with project management methodologies.
Knowledge of Ms excel business analysis tools and techniques.
Stakeholder management.
