Ensure guest satisfaction and delight them by delivering high quality food products
Would assist the Chef De Partie in food preparation and organization within the kitchen
Contribute to the smooth running of the section by preparing and presenting food to a high standard, maintaining hygiene practices and actively developing the kitchen skills and knowledge
Follow brand standard food specifications with a high level of performance and presentation and to ensure minimum food wastage in the kitchen
Ensure outstanding culinary technical skills are performed
Implement standard operating procedures to improve the process.
Ensure proper presentation of Kitchen, products & services to meet company set standards
Manage and lead all staff in the department setting a model.
Maintain a hygienic kitchen and personal hygiene
Clean the kitchen and equipment
Assist in organizing special events and special food promotions
Adhere to regular departmental housekeeping and maintenance programs
Prepares cooks and stores the required mise-en-place as per the menu.
Interact with department and hotel staff in a professional and positive manner to foster good rapport, promote team spirit and ensure effective two way communication
Communicates to his/her superior any difficulties, guest or internal customer comment and other relevant information
Establishes and maintains effective employee working relationships
Attends and participates in daily briefings and other meetings as scheduled
Attends and participates in training sessions as scheduled
Prepares in advance food, beverage, material and equipment needed for the service
Cleans and re-sets his/her working area
Implements the hotel and department regulations, policies and procedures
Performs related duties and special projects as assigned
Establishes and maintains effective employee working relationships
Implement procedures which enhance the better guest experience and satisfaction
Ensure proper implementation of the Prevention of food adulteration policies and procedures
Ensure implementation of international standards of Food hygiene and Safety
Responsible for the safety of all guest services
