Role Overview:



As an Executive in

Business Development & Client Servicing

, you will play a key role in expanding our client base and ensuring the delivery of exceptional service. This dynamic role blends strategic sales initiatives with active client engagement, providing a comprehensive platform for growth.

Key Responsibilities:



Sales Planning & Execution:



Lead Generation:

Identify and build a strong pipeline of potential clients through online research, internal referrals, and direct outreach.

Client Engagement:

Schedule and conduct meetings with prospects to understand requirements and present customized solutions.

Sales Strategy Development:

Collaborate with the Business Development Manager to execute annual, quarterly, and monthly sales plans.

Proposal & Presentation Preparation:

Craft compelling client proposals and presentations that effectively communicate our value proposition.

Revenue Generation:

Drive revenue growth while ensuring compliance with the company's credit policy.

Collection Management:

Track and follow up on client payments, ensuring timely collections through coordination with clients and agencies.

Strategic Input:

Contribute to sales strategies and provide innovative ideas for revenue maximization.

Special Projects:

Assist in the promotion and sale of special projects and events as required.

Market Feedback:

Provide insights to the Production/Operations team regarding market developments to inform business strategies.

Progress Reporting:

Regularly update the supervisor on target achievements through weekly reviews and specified reports.

Client Follow-Up:

Maintain consistent communication with clients to capitalize on potential business opportunities.

Collaborative Ideation:

Partner with Client Servicing and Creative teams to generate concepts for events and activations.

Client Relationship Management:



Database Management:

Create and maintain comprehensive databases of clients, contacts, and marketing spends.

Relationship Building:

Establish and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers to foster repeat business.

Brief Preparation:

Deliver detailed briefs to the Client Servicing team, ensuring alignment with client expectations.

Concept Development:

Collaborate in the ideation and creation of concepts that meet client requirements.

Execution Planning:

Outline execution timelines and costs, guiding clients through the approval process.

Liaison Role:

Act as the primary bridge between the client and internal teams to ensure smooth execution.

Post-Event Reporting:

Prepare and share comprehensive event reports, gathering client feedback to inform future improvements.

Competitive Analysis:



Market Intelligence:

Monitor and report on competitors' activities, developing a database to inform strategic decisions.

Business Strategy Analysis:

Gather information on competitors' business plans and strategies, incorporating insights into the competitor database.

Client Share Analysis:

Assess competitors' share of business within specific clients to identify potential opportunities.

Pricing Intelligence:

Analyse competitor pricing for informed decision-making.

Systems Implementation:



Reporting:

Prepare daily call reports, weekly progress updates, sales forecasts, and monthly plans in prescribed formats.

Documentation:

Maintain all client and sales documentation accurately, in line with company policies.

Qualifications



Education:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline.

Experience:

Prior experience in business development or client servicing with a strong track record of meeting sales targets.

Key Skills



1. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

2. Excellent negotiation and presentation abilities.

3. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
