About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced

3D Printer Technical Application cum Support Engineer

to join our dynamic team at ARK Infosolutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in

additive manufacturing

, hands-on experience with

Formlabs SLA printers

and/or

Intech Additive Metal 3D Printers

, and the ability to handle both pre-sales and post-sales technical support functions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Application Support

Demonstrate 3D printers (Formlabs & Intech) to potential clients with detailed technical knowledge. Conduct application studies, sample part printing, and benchmarking for customer requirements. Collaborate with sales and application teams to provide suitable 3D printing solutions. Assist clients in material selection and process parameters for various applications.

2. Installation & Training

Install and configure Formlabs (SLA) and Intech (Metal 3D) printers at client sites. Conduct comprehensive training for end-users on hardware, software (PreForm, Magics, etc.), and post-processing. Ensure seamless onboarding for new customers.

3. Post-Sales Technical Support

Provide timely technical assistance for troubleshooting hardware/software issues. Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and servicing of 3D printers. Coordinate with OEMs (Formlabs, Intech) for escalated technical issues and firmware/software updates. Maintain service logs and customer support records.

4. Documentation & Reporting

Create and maintain technical documentation, service reports, and application case studies. Report product feedback to the internal product management team for improvements.

5. Trade Shows & Customer Engagement

Participate in exhibitions, workshops, and customer events as a technical representative. Deliver presentations and hands-on demos to promote brand awareness.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in additive manufacturing or 3D printer support roles. Strong hands-on experience with Formlabs (SLA) printers and Intech metal printers is preferred. Proficiency in slicing software (e.g., PreForm, Magics, Cura) and CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.) Understanding of SLA, SLS, DMLS/SLM technologies, and post-processing workflows. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer-handling skills. Willingness to travel for installations, training, and support.

Preferred Certifications (Not Mandatory):

Certified Additive Manufacturing Professional (CAM-P) OEM Certifications from Formlabs or Intech (if any)
