JOB DESCRIPTION DESIGNATION/ TITLE: Executive - Production, QA - QC and Technical Services REPORTING TO Technical Director NUMBER OF REPORTS Officer - Technical Services, Fitter, Welder (6-7 Team members) LOCATION :Pawane, Navi Mumbai OBJECTIVE: Production and Assembly, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Technical Product Trials, Application Developments, Technical Sales & Service Support, Service Improvements, Vendor development and Sourcing for production. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Production and Quality control : 1. Executing Production and assembly plans 2. Inspection of all incoming & outgoing materials 3. Final Accountability of QA & QC of all products and spare parts 4. Sourcing of parts and accessories locally, Vendor Development. 5. Compliances of Packing, Manuals, Labels etc to be ready for sales and dispatched. 2. Research and Development: 1. Based on company's plans- To execute new product market survey trials and make developments. 2. Comparative analysis of the product a. In-depth Tech Analysis b. Benefit and efficient Indexing 3. Technical Trials: 1. Taking up project based trials on new products. 2. Making ongoing improvements on old products as per market feedback 3. Field trials and coordination for old and new products 4. Government Certification 4. Testing and Approval: 1. Prototype and testing (Lab & Field) 2. Testing approval- University, Lab, BIS or Similar 3. Vendor development and Management for those products 4. Users manual updating 5. Training and team handling 1. Thorough training on product application and troubleshooting to Internal team 2. Guiding and handling existing team of service personnel. 3. Planning their work and getting the work done from them. 4. Handling a team of Technician, planning their work and getting the work done from them. JOB SPECIFICATION YEARS OF EXPERIENCE Min 4/5 years' experience in Production, Quality Control, Product Development and Service Field. QUALIFICATION B.Tech (Agriculture Engineering)/BE(Mechanical) COMPETENCIES Technical & Strategic: 2 stroke & 4 stroke engine knowledge for agricultural equipment Servicing products.
