Role Overview
The Product Intelligence team plays a critical role in driving innovation and market relevance by combining scientific research with deep consumer and market understanding. This role is ideal for individuals who are curious, creative, and passionate about the personal care and beauty industry, with a strong inclination towards research, experimentation, and trend analysis.
Key Responsibilities
Track, analyze, and document latest trends, innovations, and launches in the personal care and beauty market.
Conduct product and ingredient research, benchmarking competitor products and identifying market gaps.
Support experimentation and research activities by working with different variables, formulations, and concepts.
Prepare presentations, reports, and visual dashboards to communicate insights effectively.
Use visualization tools and Gen AI platforms to enhance research output and storytelling.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders across R&D, marketing, and product teams to support new product ideation.
Maintain structured databases and documentation related to products, ingredients, and market intelligence.
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong interest and affinity towards personal care, beauty, and cosmetics.
Tech-savvy with good working knowledge of:
MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Visualization tools
Canva
Gen AI tools
Excellent communication and articulation skills (written and verbal).
Creative mindset with a passion for exploring new ideas and innovations.
Scientific and analytical thinking with an understanding of research methodologies and experimentation.
High level of enthusiasm, curiosity, and willingness to learn continuously.
Educational Background & Experience
Preferred educational background in Chemistry, Cosmetics Science, or related fields.
1-3 years of relevant experience is preferred.
Hands-on experience in personal care companies or third-party (3P) contract manufacturing labs will be a strong advantage.
