The Job Placement Executive will be responsible for supporting the placement of Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) by directly coordinating with employers, assisting in candidate preparation, and ensuring smooth execution of placement activities. The role involves job matching, organizing recruitment events, and conducting regular follow-ups with beneficiaries and employers to ensure successful placement and retention.
The Executive will also maintain accurate documentation of all placement-related activities and provide timely reports to the coordinator - Placements.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Coordinator - Placements in building and maintaining employer networks.
Assist in job mapping and matching candidates to suitable vacancies.
Coordinate recruitment activities such as interviews, campus drives, and job fairs.
Prepare beneficiaries for interviews by conducting pre-placement orientation and basic counselling.
Liaise with employers for scheduling, feedback, and finalizing offers.
Track placement status and update the Coordinator - Placements regularly.
Follow up with placed candidates and employers to support retention and resolve initial challenges.
Maintain placement records, update databases, and prepare periodic reports.
Assist in organizing employer engagement activities and exposure visits.
Provide feedback from employers to improve training and candidate preparedness
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree (BA/BSW) or Diploma in Social Work, HR, Business, or related field.
1-3 years of experience in recruitment, placement, or field-level employer engagement.
Working knowledge of MS Office and database management.
Fluency in local language(s) and basic proficiency in English
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in working with Persons with Disabilities or marginalized groups.
Familiarity with HR/recruitment processes, job portals, or placement drives.
Exposure to NGO or CSR-driven employment programs.
Skills and Competencies:
