A. Packaging Development

----------------------------

Develop, evaluate, and finalize packaging materials based on product and operational requirements.

Work with suppliers for new packaging development, samples, testing, and cost benchmarking.

Coordinate packaging trials with production/manufacturing teams.

Ensure packaging meets quality standards, regulatory guidelines, and sustainability goals.

Maintain packaging specifications, artwork, and technical documents.

B. Sourcing & Supplier Coordination

Support the sourcing team in identifying, evaluating, and onboarding packaging suppliers.

Evaluate and onboard new suppliers, ensuring compliance with quality and sustainability standards

Coordinate & support the supplier capability assessments.

Collaborate with suppliers for development, quality assurance, and timely delivery

Track supplier performance: lead times, quality issues, and service levels.

C. RM & PM Inventory Management

------------------------------------

Monitor day-to-day RM and PM inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment.

Maintain minimum/maximum stock levels and avoid stockouts or excess inventory.

Coordinate with production , warehouse, and procurement for material requirements.

Track GRNs, consumption, slow-moving/obsolete stock, and monthly reconciliation.

Ensure accurate documentation and system updates (ERP/SAP/Tally or relevant system).

D. Cross-Functional Coordination

Work closely with Production, QA/QC, R&D, Sourcing, Warehousing, and Logistics.

Resolve material quality issues with QA & suppliers.

Support the production and Sourcing team in MRP and forecast-based procurement decisions.

E. Compliance & Documentation

----------------------------------

Ensure all packaging materials comply with regulatory, safety, and environmental standards.

Maintain packaging artwork files, technical drawings, and change control records.

Maintain accurate documentation for audits: internal, regulatory, customer.

Planning & Forecasting

Work closely with production, supply chain, and sales teams to forecast packaging material requirements

Support monthly and annual planning cycles with accurate data and insights

To succeed, you must hold:

5+ years of experience in packaging development & Inventory management (Bio-Agriculture/Agrochemical preferred) Familiarity with agrochemical packaging regulatory requirements Proficient in ERP systems (SAP), artwork tools, and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Excellent communication, project management, and analytical skills Self-starter with problem-solving ability, LEAN concepts, and process improvement mindset Ability to influence management and collaborate with global teams.
