To oversee and manage day-to-day employee transportation operations at the client site, ensuring safe, timely, and efficient transport services in compliance with company and client policies, including female safety norms and operational SLAs.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Transport Operations
o Manage and monitor day-to-day cabs operations for all employee shifts.
o Ensure vehicles arrive on time for scheduled pickups and drops.
o Coordinate closely with the transport vendor and drivers for smooth operations.
o Handle last-minute cab arrangements, route deviations, or breakdown issues promptly.
Employee & Client Coordination
o Serve as the first point of contact for employee transport-related queries or complaints.
o Maintain effective communication with the client transport SPOC, security, and administration teams.
o Conduct daily coordination with the scheduling and backend operations team.
Safety & Compliance
o Ensure all safety protocols are followed, including female first pickup/last drop and escort deployment.
o Verify driver documents, vehicle fitness, insurance, and compliance with RTO norms.
o Maintain emergency contact lists and ensure vehicles have functional GPS and panic buttons.
MIS & Reporting
o Prepare and maintain shift-wise reports - vehicle deployment, attendance, KM run, exceptions, and incidents.
o Support billing verification by maintaining trip logs and attendance data.
o Share daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports with the central ETS team and client.
Vendor & Driver Management
o Brief drivers daily on routes, conduct, and compliance expectations.
o Handle driver discipline issues and escalate unresolved matters to the Operations Manager.
o Support vendor in ensuring vehicle rotation, cleanliness, and preventive maintenance.
Escalations & Incident Management
o Manage on-ground incidents such as delays, employee complaints, or safety concerns.
o Maintain records of all incidents and corrective actions taken.
o Escalate critical issues immediately to higher management and client representatives.
Audits & Continuous Improvement
o Conduct regular route audits and surprise night checks.
o Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to optimize cost and service quality.
o Support implementation of any new transport management systems (TMS) or automation tools.
Qualifications & Experience
Education: Graduate in any discipline (preferably in logistics, operations, or management).
Experience: 06-1yrs years in employee transportation, facility management, or fleet operations.
