Job Purpose
---------------
The Mobilizer will be responsible for
mobilizing eligible rural youth for DDU-GKY training programs
, ensuring awareness of the scheme, counselling candidates, and supporting enrolment as per MoRD/DDU-GKY SOP 2.0 guidelines.
Eligibility Criteria
------------------------
Candidate
must be a local resident of the state
and familiar with local language, culture, and geography.
Minimum
12th Pass / Graduate
(Graduate preferred).
Experience in
community mobilization, fieldwork, NGO projects, skill development schemes
will be an advantage.
Willingness to travel extensively within rural and remote areas.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
---------------------------------
Mobilization & Outreach
Conduct
village-level mobilization activities
such as door-to-door visits, community meetings, Gram Sabha interactions, SHG meetings, school/college outreach, and job melas.
Create awareness about
DDU-GKY objectives, eligibility criteria, training, placement, and post-placement support
.
Coordinate with
Panchayats, Block offices, NGOs, youth clubs, SHGs, and community leaders
for mobilization.
Candidate Identification & Counselling
Identify
eligible rural youth (18-35 years)
as per DDU-GKY norms.
Conduct
initial screening and counselling
of candidates and parents.
Explain course details, duration, residential/non-residential facilities, and placement prospects.
Documentation & Data Management
Support candidates in
document collection
(Aadhaar, ration card, income certificate, domicile, bank details, etc.).
Ensure
accurate data entry
in DDU-GKY MIS / internal MIS.
Maintain mobilization records, attendance sheets, photographs, and reports as per SOP.
Batch Formation & Joining Support
Assist in
batch formation
and ensure timely reporting of candidates at the training center.
Coordinate with center staff for
induction, hostel allocation, and onboarding
.
Follow up with shortlisted candidates to reduce
drop-outs before batch start
.
Coordination & Reporting
Coordinate with
Centre Manager, Trainers, Counsellors, and State Team
.
Submit
daily/weekly mobilization reports
with targets achieved.
Participate in review meetings and support audits/inspections.
Skills & Competencies

Strong communication skills in
local language and basic English
.
Good interpersonal and counselling skills.
Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, MIS entry).
Ability to work independently in the field.
Result-oriented and target-driven approach.

Number of candidates mobilized and enrolled.
Conversion ratio from mobilization to joining.
Documentation accuracy and MIS compliance.
Drop-out reduction at pre-training stage.
Other Requirements
----------------------
Two-wheeler preferred (with valid driving license).
Willingness to work on weekends and during community events if required.
