energetic, skilled, and results-oriented Sales & Marketing Manager
with
1-5 years of experience
in handling
government tenders, e-procurement portals, and GeM (Government e-Marketplace)
. The ideal candidate will be responsible for expanding our business opportunities through strategic tender participation, market research, and proactive client engagement with government departments and public sector undertakings.

Key Responsibilities
Identify, evaluate, and participate in
government and PSU tenders
through
GeM, CPPP, and other e-tender portals
.
Prepare and manage
tender documentation
, including technical and financial bid submissions, compliance checks, and vendor registration.
Maintain and update company profiles, product listings, and pricing on
GeM and other e-procurement platforms
.
Develop and execute
sales strategies
to achieve company revenue goals in both
government and institutional segments
.
Coordinate with clients, departments, and consultants to gather tender information and follow up on bid status, clarifications, and negotiations.
Manage the
sales pipeline
using
Salesforce or CRM tools
, ensuring timely updates, forecasting, and reporting.
Collaborate with internal departments (Finance, Technical, Legal, and Operations) for seamless bid preparation and project execution.
Prepare
marketing materials
, presentations, and digital content for tenders, exhibitions, and client meetings.
Build and maintain
relationships with government officials, consultants, and PSU stakeholders
to enhance business opportunities.
Monitor
market trends, competitor activities, and policy updates
relevant to the infrastructure, power, and public procurement sectors.
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience:
1-5 years in
sales, marketing, or tender management
(preferably in government procurement or B2B infrastructure projects).
Essential Skills:
Hands-on experience with
GeM portal, CPPP, or other state tender portals
.
Strong understanding of
tender processes, documentation, EMD, PBG, and vendor registration procedures
.
Proficiency in
Salesforce CRM, MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
.
Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication;
Spanish proficiency
is an added advantage.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in
Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or Engineering
. MBA (Marketing/Finance) preferred.
Personal Attributes:
Highly organized with attention to detail.
Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of working independently or in a team.
