Carry out diagnostic study to
understand the socio-economic
conditions in mining affected
villages and analyse the impact (or
deficit) of existing government
schemes/ projects.
? Conduct participatory planning and
need assessment exercise in the
mining affected villages in the
district.
? Evaluate projects submitted by
different stakeholders to be taken up
under DMF.
? Converge with various lines to
improve effectiveness of
interventions on the community.
? Facilitate the approval of the Annual
Action Plans in the Executive
Committee and Governing Board of
the DMF.
Oversee the implementation of the
approved projects through regular
field visits and raise flags at
appropriate levels in case of
potential delays or cost over-runs.
Promote community-based
monitoring tools like Social Audit of
projects executed under the DMF.
? Undertake action-research to
discover more appropriate ways of
doing things under the DMF.
? Demonstrate the effectiveness of
various projects taken up under
DMF on the lives of the mining
affected communities through
various communication mediums.
? Prepare documentation of success
stories, lessons learnt and impact at
periodic intervals.
? Report to the Team Leader, PMU
DMF.
? Any other duties as may be
assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
PG or master's in economics,
social work/MSW/MBA or
equivalent degree from a
reputed Institute/University.
Minimum 5 years of experience
in implementing government
schemes/ projects around Rural
Development/Livelihoods/ Skill
Development /Environment/
Health Care.
