Identification and formulation of
projects to be taken by DMFTs
under particular districts by
assessing the benefits of ongoing
projects.
? Work with department for
identification and preparation of
projects of mineral exploration.
? Support department in
preparation of policy framework
with respect to constraints and
minimization of gestation periods
for operationalization of mineral
block.
To suggest additional
interventions on mining tax
system that enables the
department to exploit untapped
sources of revenue, which may
be lawfully tapped to generate
adequate financial resources for
achieving revenue targets.
? To put in place an efficient and
effective revenue collection and
management system for
adherence by all mining revenue
collection units.
Assist in identification of minor minerals blocks.
? Any other duties as may be
assigned by the department.

QUALIFICATIONS



MA/M.Tech or BE/B.Tech in
Mining Engineering, Geology
or related field (s) from a
reputed and recognized
University/ Institution.



Min 5 years of experience in
mining and metal sector project
in operationalisation of mineral
blocks of central Government/
State Government/PSU
organizations/ Mining
companies in Private sector
(having turnover of at least Rs
500 crores.
