Job Description

Job Title: Executive/ Sr. Executive - Logistics
Location: Vikhroli, Mumbai
Department: Logistics- Operations
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Logistics Operations Specialist to oversee logistics operations, manage both internal and external stakeholders, and optimize logistics costs.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for invoice validation, shipment monitoring, cost reporting, and resolving logistics-related issues while ensuring process alignment and supporting new projects.
Internal Stakeholder Management:
?Perform monthly B2C/D2C invoice checks and validations to ensure accurate logistics cost reporting
?Monitor and recover shipments In Transit and RTO (Return to Origin) for timely clearance
?Track RTO shipments, including those marked as undelivered, damaged, or short, and work with the warehouse team to resolve issues
?Oversee COD remittance, and resolve payment-related queries promptly
?Correct shipment status in the system to ensure data accuracy
?Prepare and report D2C logistics costs and B2C invoice-wise logistics costs
?Monitor weekly RTO damage and short delivery alignments, ensuring proper QC and damage reporting
?Ensure timely communication with the finance team to facilitate smooth invoice bookings
External Stakeholder Management:
?Manage shipment-level disputes with external carriers across all platforms (e.g., In Transit, RTO - Damage, Short, and Not Received).
?Perform pre-billing validation and ensure accurate billing by carriers
?Conduct weekly follow-ups via email and calls to resolve disputes in a timely manner
?Consolidate disputes by mutual co-ordination with logistics carriers for smooth closures
Logistics Cost Control:
?Calculate and track logistics cost projections to support cost control initiatives
?Track Dark store replenishment and Dark Store Last Mile costs, ensuring proper validation and budget adherence
?Analyze B2C load allocation, identify opportunities for cost reduction, and support B2C cost control strategies
Analysis:
?Maintain commercial closure data for accurate reporting and decision-making
?Support B2C/B2B/FM/MM commercial analysis to ensure informed decision-making ahead of commercial closures
?Analyze load allocation data to optimize cost control and improve logistics performance
Process Alignment & New Projects:
?Align SOPs for RTO unboxing video processes and verify compliance weekly
?Lead new process alignment projects to streamline operations and improve overall cost control
Qualifications:
?Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
?2+ years of experience in logistics operations, supply chain management, or a similar role.
?Strong understanding of B2C and D2C logistics, shipment tracking, RTO processes, and logistics cost management
?Experience in stakeholder management (both internal and external)
?Excellent analytical skills and ability to manage data efficiently
?Strong communication and interpersonal skills for handling dispute resolution and collaboration with external partners
?Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and logistics management software/tools (looker studio, sql, google sheets, etc)
?Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Preferred Skills:
?Experience with logistics cost tracking and reporting
?Familiarity with warehouse operations and quality control (QC) processes
?Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
?Strong time management and problem solving skills
