: Executive - Internal Audit Governance & Risk Management

Job Summary

: We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Executive to join our team. This position demands proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP), data analysis, and logistics, particularly in import and export operations. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in managing financial processes, exemplary communication skills, and the capability to analyse data for actionable insights. A comprehensive understanding of receivables and payables, coupled with strong analytical acumen, is critical for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage the audit function of Accounts Payable (AP), ensuring precise and timely processing of invoices. Conduct data analysis to identify trends, discrepancies and areas for improvement in the processes. Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure accurate accounting for import and export transactions. Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies and applicable regulations in handling payables and receivables. Provide support in optimizing processes to enhance the efficiency of AP operations. Prepare reports on AP performance, emphasizing key metrics and areas for improvement. Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of transactions in accordance with accounting standards and tax regulations.

Qualifications:

Education

:Chartered Accountant -Inter/IPCC, Cost Accountant, Cost Accountant -Inter, or MBA in Finance qualification is required. B Com

Experience

:4-6 years of experience in Accounts Payable (AP) with a strong emphasis on data analysis. Experience in logistics, specifically import and export processes, is highly desirable. Proven experience in managing receivables and payables, ensuring accuracy and adherence to financial regulations.

Skills

:Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and accounting software SAP is mandatory. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and clients. Thorough understanding of accounting principles, internal controls, and financial regulations related to AP.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
