GAC Shipping (India) Private Limited is seeking candidates for the position of Executive - IT to be based in Mumbai. Could it be you?

The main purpose of the job is

regular day-to-day software development, updates and maintenance related to multiple new and existing local projects based on the requirements of users and clients. The role will include writing code, designing solutions for applications, support for existing applications and users, improving functionality, and providing IT tools training to staff.

Key Tasks

Web and mobile application app development, upgrading and maintenance of software. Writing and implementing efficient code. Ensure the availability and smooth functioning of existing local and group applications. Writing SQL queries and store procedures.

Interpersonal Skills

- To establish and maintain relationships within and outside GAC.

Technology Applications Knowledge

- Understand the use and maintains awareness of technological applications to enhance the company's business capabilities. Good knowledge of ASP.NET, MVC Extensive working knowledge of coding using .NET languages (C#, VB, .NET). Good knowledge of MS-SQL. JavaScript and Bootstrap. Familiarity with Web API Knowledge of Shipping and Logistics will be added advantage Knowledge of Mobile APP will be added advantage

Accuracy and attention to detail & problem-solving skills. Mathematical aptitude. Excellent organizational and time management skills. An understanding of the latest trends and their role in commercial environment. Self-development skills to keep up to date with fast-changing trends. Adaption to various business domains
