Role: Executive - International Product & Penguin Select
Department: Sales
OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
To primarily work on supporting international product team by managing backend process and data collation. And also work with Penguin Select team to maintain and manage backend processes and co-ordination with freelancers.
STAKEHOLDERS FOR THE ROLE
INTERNAL: VP - International Product & Marketing, Sales team and Publishers
EXTERNAL: Vendors, Printers and Freelancers
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Prepare monthly trade letters in PowerPoint template
- Create and maintain complete database of titles in Excel
- Prepare weekly/monthly reports
- Handle day to day title/customer queries regarding international titles
- Co-ordinate with publishers, printers and vendors for local printing of titles
- Handle day to day work around printing POs, follow-ups with vendors, publishers, printers, internal teams.
- Maintain pub schedule of Penguin Select titles
- Co-ordinate with freelance editors, designers and vendors
- 2-3 years' experience in Publishing industry
- Well versed with MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Fluent in English - both written and verbal
- Team player
